Family Vacation :: Mexico 2009
At the height of the swine flu epidemic we thought it would be a good idea to visit ground-zero and have a few cocktails.

	We stayed at an all inclusive called the Grand Sunset Princess Resort. The hotel was only about 20% occupied - we were alone. . .		The food and the shows were great. We even attended a wedding. . .		The hotel was just north of Playa del Carmen. Look how empty the streets are. . . .
Okay, okay, it's not a real Mayan Village. But we were told it was a real Mayan Village.		If you ever get a chance - visit Chichen Itza. Mexico has done an amazing job of restoration. And look no tourist. Nothing like a pandemic....		Tom's favorite part of the vacation. Fran Alexa and Zach's least favorite part of the vacation. . .
	The best scenery in the Caribbean is under the water. We rented a couple of and snorkeled on a coral reef.		Cenotes are cool. They are lakes inside of caves. Bats, yucca roots and 70 plus feet of cool cave water.
